Kemi Olunloyo Sent To Prison After Appearing In Court Over Pastor David Ibiyeomie’s Case

A Church member of Pastor David Ibiyeomie sent a letter to Kemi Olunloyo, Kemi published the letter which suggests adultery and corruption. On Tuesday, Police storm her home in Ibadan Oyo State and whisked her away to Rivers State. According to her, she was charged for a criminal offence and wasn’t granted bail so she will remain in prison till the 23rd of March when the court will sit again. She took to her IG to notify the world saying she might not be able to say anything again because she is been driven to the prison.

Pastor David Ibiyeomie is not the first Pastor Kemi Olunloyo will speak against. She has called respected Pastor E.A Adeboye a criminal and all sorts, but the man of God never said a word. Her father personally went to look for the man of God, he wanted to prostrate but Adeboye stopped him. He apologized on her behalf and Adeboye said it was NOTHING. Instead he prayed for the man again. This speaks volume. Freeze is currently soliciting for her online, but the truth is, this ARREST SPEAKS VOLUME. And you know what? The police have absolute right to carry out their duty. It’s a citizen crying out for justice that his name shouldn’t be dragged in the mud, so they came in. But then, the truth again is, this is not just a citizen, this is a man of GOD…. This is a JESUS FOLLOWER. Our father never got anyone arrested when He was on earth. Wasn’t Jesus prosecuted? Wasn’t he spat upon? Didn’t he even die for us all? Come on, which Pastor has been spat upon? Which Pastor has been beaten? Nailed to the cross? Excuse me? God said we should be like him, act like him? If it were Jesus will he call the authorities? We all know He will rather pray for Kemi Olunloyo. This speaks volume, too much volume. So many people are upset about the way Christian leaders are going on at this moment. Don’t let’s forget the Bible, THE BATTLE IS OF THE LORD. THE LORD, AND THE LORD ALONE. God bless Nigeria. Her words below..

Dear Media, friends, fans. I was driven by the NPF to Port Harcourt on orders of the IG. Pastor David Ibiyeomie says I criminally defamed him because I posted a letter his church member sent to me alleging corruption and adultery.
Both newsmakers refused to answer the allegations but Ibiyeomie called me several times to threaten me with lawsuits, death from above and misfortune. Church spokesman did the same with Danielle Ogbeche of Daily Post too.
I have been charged with a cybercrime along with a Rivers state journalist who simply syndicated my story. 500 blogs did. Cybercrime? in the Nigerian constitution and remanded in prison.

Next week 23rd I appear in court again for a second bail attempt. I will be in this Port Harcourt prison till then. THE PEN IS MIGHTIER THAN THE SWORD. #Journalism is not a crime. I love you all. Pls trend #FreeKOO #FreeMadamHNN. @ludovicca_iacinno pls tell the world. Tweet it to the Toronto Sun's @Joe_warmington. Pls every one let Joe know. I'm in high spirits.
The NPF recommended NO bail. Police is never your friend in Nigeria. I will always be a proud international investigative journalist. I will not see my phone again for a week.
Off to a Nigerian prison. Mass Comm students never give up. I don't need my powerful connections. I want the law to run its course. GOD BLESS #FREETHESHEEPLE #KEMIOLUNLOYO

3 Nigerians and 4 other Manchester United kiosk workers face jail time after being caught stuffing money down their trousers

7 Manchester United Kiosk workers are facing jail time after they were captured on camera stuffing money down their trousers.

The management installed the peephole cameras at an Old Trafford burger stand after they noticed that the tills were repeatedly down and this helped them catch the employees stealing some of the money.
The employees caught are Anthony Agabaje, Mustafe Belkhair, Fliavio Andrade, Lugman Arogundada, Justino Edmilson, Mwila Bwanga and Olamide Oyawoye. The seven of them, all between 20 - 22 years, were linked to around £600 taken when Old Trafford hosted a rugby league match. In total around £4500 has disappeared.and the young workers have been convicted of theft by their employer.

During the hearing at the Manchester Magistrates Court, Anthony Agabaje, 21, of Folkestone Road West, Clayton, and Mustafa Belkhair, 20, of Beamish Close, Ardwick, denied the allegations brought against them but were found guilty at a trial yesterday.

Lugman Arogundada, 22, of Charlestown Road, Blackley, Mwila Bwanga, 20, of Welbeck Street, Gorton, Olamide Oyawaye, 21, of Elfan Crescent, Sandbach, Justino Edmilson, 22, of Tatton Close, Hazel Grove, and Fliavio Andrade, 22, of Lydford, Rochdale, all pleaded guilty to theft.

It was heard in court that Fliavio Andrade, who was team leader at the kiosk, was at the centre of the scam. After a game between Warrington Wolves and Wigan Warriors at United’s ground on October 8 last year, it was discovered that the tills at the kiosk were £382 short. A full stock check revealed more than £200 of food and drink was missing as well so they analysed the CCTV and discovered what the employers had been up to and got them arrested.

The Prosecutor, Heather Alsop, speaking to the court, said: “There is evidence the defendants took money from the till and put it down their trousers as well as inside blue gloves meant for hygiene. The money was passed around and shared out. It is said Mr Andrade took a cut of that money before the other team members pocketed the remainder.”

Agabaje said he had not stolen any money that what he had been putting down his boxer shorts were a bag of cannabis and two joints and that he was high on the drugs so had no idea what he was doing.  On his part, Belkhair, claimed he had been given a lot of tips and hid them in his trousers because he was afraid of having them confiscated.

All seven will be sentenced at Manchester Crown Court next month.

5-year-old pleads as her father stabs mother to death in South Africa

Five-year-old daughter of murdered Priska Thandeka reportedly witnessed the gruesome murder of her mother by her father, new reports said.
Sebeshi Zacharia Mojela, a security guard allegedly stabbed his 29-year-old girlfriend to death in Commissioner Street, South Africa on February 27. He was charged with murder.

"She apparently kept begging him not to kill her mom and kept saying, 'No daddy, stop killing mommy," said family friend, Raele Labani.
The accused made his second court appearance in Kempton Park Magistrrate’s Court on Tuesday morning, March 14th. Mojela (28) was meant to apply for bail, which he did not.
According to Capt Jethro Mtshali, spokesperson for Kempton Park SAPS, Mojela chose to abandon his bail application.
“He will remain in custody and the case was postponed to May 4,” Mtshali said.

Chalk and Mojela first met when she was a teenager, during the times she would visit her mom. According to Lambani, Mojela at the time lived with his mother where she worked as a domestic worker in Glen Marais.

By 2007/2008, the bright young Schalk had completed her tuition and was searching for a job.
“She entered a learnership programme with Edcon, during which she performed very well and was hired permanently as a debt collector. She was again recently promoted and was supposed to start working as a manager.”

Lambani also told EXPRESS that the pair were in fact legally married, although Schalk had not changed her surname.
“They married about six or seven years ago. I’m not actually sure if they had a wedding but her (Thandeka’s) mom told me they went to go sign at home affairs in Kempton.”
According to Lambani, Mojela completed a security course after matric and has worked as a security guard since. She says she is still shocked at what happened, as he was not a violent or disrespectful person.
“I really don’t understand what happened. Maybe they had some sort of problem but if they did, she never mentioned anything to us,” she says of the always bubbly Schalk. Thandeka was forever smiling and kind, so we couldn’t tell if she was unhappy or not.”
The last time Lambani and her sister had spoken to Schalk was late Sunday afternoon, the day before she died.
“My sister and her had a normal conversation and she sounded just fine. She was even mentioning that she still owed my sister a lunch date.”
Schalk was buried on Sunday, March 4th, in her hometown Taung in North West.

She took financial care of her mother, who is not permanently employed, as well as her grandparents. Their daughter is currently in the care of her grandmother.

Shocking details of parties, booze and prostitutes emerge as the biggest scandal in the history of the US navy unfolds

The 'Fat Leonard' case as it has come to be known has shocked the US navy to its core. It is a tale of bribery and corruption on an unprecedented scale. The scandal takes its name from Leonard Glenn Francis - nicknamed 'Fat Leonard' - a 51yr old Malaysian defense contractor who pleaded guilty to defrauding the military out of millions with active participation of senior military figures.
The latest officers to be named in the case are Nine current and former military officers namely: Rear Admiral Bruce Loveless, Captain Donald Hornbeck, Captain David Lausman, Marine Colonel Enrico de Guzman, warrant officer Robert Gorsuch, Captain James Dolan, and Commander Stephen Shedd, they referred to themselves as the Lion King's Harem, the Wolfpack, the Cool Kids and the Brotherhood.

According to the justice department, these nine took bribes from Francis in return for handing over secrets which the businessman used to defraud the US military out of millions of dollars. It is alleged they took bribes in the form of expensive gifts, prostitutes and ritzy hotel stays from 2006 to 2014, according to indictment documents.

In one instance, some of the men allegedly had a $50,000 'multi-day party with a regular supply of prostitutes', and drank every bottle of Dom Perignon during their stay in the presidential suite of the Shangri La hotel. In another, they had an orgy using General Douglas MacArthur's memorabilia in sexual acts. Court documents also claim the accused had a $20,435 meal sponsored by Francis during a 2006 port visit to Hong Kong.

The papers claim another dinner during a port call to Singapore that same year featured foie gras, oxtail soup, cognac that cost about $2,000 a bottle and cigars at $2,000 a box. A third luxury dinner was alleged in the documents, with this one taking place in Hong Kong in January 2008. The entire bill for the lavish meal came in at $18,371. Francis developed very deep contacts within the military, he was given confidential contracting information which he exploited without fear of getting caught.

His military contacts even passed on information on active law enforcement investigations about his own company. The explosive case has seen 27 people charged, and around 200 under investigation. 13 defendants have pleaded guilty, including another admiral who was sentenced in June and is believed to be the first active-duty Naval flag officer charged in federal court. The case is still under investigation.

Omg! Six students of UNILAG charged for allegedly gang-raping a 17-year-old female student

Six Unilag students were arrested for allegedly gang-raping a 17-year-old female student of the same institution and have now been granted bail to the tune of N6 million.

The suspects, whose names were given as Simeon Omowole, 18; Randy Chukka, 17; Samuel Oyefara, 18; Peter Adeboyega, 17; Chuka Chukwu, 19; and a female Peace Nwakanma, 18, reportedly conspired with another man who is still at large to rape the unnamed student.
Peace, the only female in the group, is said to have lured the victim to the place where she was raped. The rape was filmed and the video kept as a tool to intimidate her.

NAN disclosed that the prosecutor, Anthonia Osayande, told the court that the offences were committed in January at High-Rise private boys' quarters, University of Lagos.

She said: “The six students sexually harassed the girl with video clips in order to intimidate her. They all had sexual intercourse with the 17-year-old without her consent.”

The suspects pleaded not guilty to a five-count charge bordering on conspiracy, rape and sexual harassment and were granted bail in the sum of N500,000 each with two sureties each in like sum by the Chief Magistrate, A. Ipaye-Nwachukwu who said one of the sureties must be a blood relation of the accused, while the second surety should be a civil servant of not less than Grade Level 14. She also demanded that the sureties are to provide an evidence of tax payment to the Lagos State Government.

The case was adjourned to May 18 pending advice from the State Director of Public Prosecutions.

Federal judge in Hawaii blocks President Trump’s new travel ban executive order

A federal judge in Hawaii on Wednesday issued a freeze of President Trump’s new executive travel ban order hours before it would have temporarily barred the issuance of new visas to citizens of six Muslim-majority countries and suspended the admission of new refugees. The new executive ban was supposed to have taken off today, March 16th, 2017.

In a 43-page opinion, U.S. District Judge Derrick K. Watson picked out Trump’s previous comments and those of his close advisers during his 2016 campaign as evidence that his order was meant to discriminate against Muslims and declared there was a “strong likelihood of success” that those suing would prove the directive violated the Constitution.

Watson declared that “a reasonable, objective observer, enlightened by the specific historical context, contemporaneous public statements, and specific sequence of events leading to its issuance, would conclude that the Executive Order was issued with a purpose to disfavor a particular religion.”

He added:
“The illogic of the Government’s contentions is palpable,” Watson wrote. “The notion that one can demonstrate animus toward any group of people only by targeting all of them at once is fundamentally flawed.”
Watson was one of three federal judges to hear arguments Wednesday about the ban, though he was the first to issue an opinion. Federal judges in Washington state and Maryland said they would issue opinions soon.

As the ruling in Hawaii was being handed down, James L. Robart, the federal judge in Washington state who froze Trump’s first travel ban, was hearing arguments about whether he should freeze the second. He said he did not think his first freeze was still in effect, though he did not immediately rule on whether he should issue a new one.

Watson’s decision might not be the last word. He was considering only a request for a temporary restraining order, and while that required him to assess whether challengers of the ban would ultimately succeed, his ruling is not final on that question. The Justice Department could appeal the ruling or wage a longer-term court battle before the judge in Hawaii.

Ekiti state governor Ayo Fayose says I stand by Apostle Suleman

Governor Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti State has described the adultery allegation against Apostle Johnson Suleiman of the Omega Power Ministry by one Miss Stephanie Otobo as “high level conspiracy meant to destroy the integrity of the pastor and silence his critical and principled voice of truth and dissent in a nation fast becoming a one-party state." He said;

“This was the same way they tried to drag the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christians Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye in the mud. The whole world was aghast at how they insulted and ridiculed the highly-revered RCCG General Overseer. But for the outcry from all over the world, they almost bundled out Pastor Adeboye from his position as RCCG General Overseer and could have even arrested the General Overseer of Winners Chapel, David Oyedepo."
In a statement issued on Wednesday in Ado-Ekiti by his Special Assistant on Public Communications and New Media,  Lere Olayinka, the governor declared unequivocally that; " I stand by Apostle Suleiman and other men of God being directly or indirectly persecuted by the All Progressives Congress (APC) cabal."

The governor said; "their evil plan is to destroy the Church so as to silence every perceivable strong voice of opposition. And their mode of operation is to take on every vocal, principled, and popular man of God one after the other.
"Should it not interest Nigerians and the international community that up till today, none of those herdsmen that killed thousands of Nigerians in Benue, Enugu, Delta, Ogun, Plateau and Kaduna States have been arrested? Even those arrested in connection with the murder n Abuja-based female pastor, Eunice Elisha have been released."
Governor Fayose wondered why all the adultery allegations and blackmail against Apostle Suleiman surfaced only after he spoke out against the reckless and indiscriminate killing of Christians in Southern Kaduna and his subsequent encounter with the Department of State Services (DSS).
“This, no doubt, is a continuation of the desperate but despicable and condemnable attempts to destroy opposition and the voices of reason in this country so as to subjugate every decent Nigerian and turn the country into a banana republic.
“After politically subjugating many Nigerians, including a section of the Judiciary that refused to do their bidding; they have now turned on men of God, this is condemnable," the governor said. Governor Fayose charged the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) and other Christian bodies not to stay aloof but to stand up resolutely and speak out vociferously against what he called “orchestrated attempt to destroy the Church and respected Church leaders in Nigeria.”
He berated those behind the travails of Apostle Suleiman as confirmed polygamists, serial adulterers, and others whose holier-than-thou attitude was sheer hypocrisy.
“Anyone who has a case against any man of God should swear an oath, proceed to the law court and face the rigours, rather than engage in media trial and character assassination, which have become the hallmark of this administration.”
Governor Fayose wondered why the perpetrators of the wicked scheme against Apostle Suleiman were not relenting even after the father of the woman making the wild allegations had punctured her loathsome and outrageous claims.
“The family of Stephanie Otobo has disclaimed her and her claims. Rather than own up and recant, those paying for the entire drama are making her to keep changing and modifying her claims, with  they all still collapsed like a pack of cards. All other efforts to enlist other blackmailers against this man of God have likewise collapsed irretrievably.
“I therefore make bold to say that I stand by Apostle Suleiman. I also call on all those who believe in me to do likewise and carry the message abroad. To me, this plot against Apostle Suleiman is madness carried too far.
"One wonders why this same resources and vigour with which Apostle Suleiman is being blackmailed  have not been deployed into confronting those murderous herdsmen that are slaughtering Nigerians like animals across the country,” Fayose concluded.

Update! Trump reacts to his travel ban freeze and mocks Hilary Clinton

At a rally in Nashville, Trump called the ruling by U.S. District Judge Derrick Watson's freeze on his travel ban as “terrible” and asked a cheering crowd whether the ruling was “done by a judge for political reasons.”
He said the administration would fight the case “as far as it needs to go,” including up to the Supreme Court, and added that he was persuaded by advisers and even the 9th district judges to sign a “watered-down version” of his first travel ban. Trump called the ruling an "unprecedented judicial overreach" He said:
“A judge has just blocked our executive order on travel and refugees coming into our country from certain countries. The order he blocked was a watered down version of the first order.
"Let me tell you something, I think we ought to go back to the first one and go all the way”. “The danger is clear, the law is clear, the need for my executive order is clear.”
"This ruling makes us look weak which by the way, we no longer are," he said.
Then he took shots at Hillary Clinton. He said:
"The law and Constitution give the president the power to suspend immigration when he deems - or she, or she. Fortunately, it will not be Hillary. (The crowd cheered again and chanted 'lock her up'). He continued:
The need for my executive order was clear. I was elected to change our broken and dangerous system and thinking in government that has
“Whoever is president can say ‘I’m sorry folks, not now, please, we’ve got enough problems,’” Trump said. “We’re talking about the safety of our nation, the safety and security of our people.
Sarah Isgur Flores, a spokesman for the Justice Department, said in a statement:
“The Department of Justice strongly disagrees with the federal district court’s ruling, which is flawed both in reasoning and in scope. The President’s Executive Order falls squarely within his lawful authority in seeking to protect our Nation’s security, and the Department will continue to defend this Executive Order in the courts."

This Cleric man stoned a 3 yr old to death for ritual

The Police in Lagos state have arrested a muslim cleric, Kazeem Alimson also known as Alfa for stoning a three year old boy named, Chiagozie Okereke, to death, whom he allegedly planned to use for rituals. The incident happened at the White Sand area of Isheri-Oshun in Ejigbo area of Lagos State on Tuesday March 14th.
According to the Guardian, the suspect had paid a primary six pupil named Simon Kanu N500 to lure the deceased to his abode where he used a big stone to kill him.

Narrating how her son was lured from her home, Chinasa Okereke, the distraught mother of the deceased said:
“Around 7:00p.m. yesterday (Tuesday), I brought my children out to bathe him. When I finished bathing the younger one, I went inside to get the wrapper to strap him in order to enable me bath the other child. But on getting outside, I didn’t see my baby again. The sister said he went into my neighbour’s house but I didn’t see him there and when I asked, they said he went out with Simon.
I called my son’s name but there was no response. Later, we saw Simon that night, I asked him about the whereabouts of my son, he said he did not see him. Simon took my son, strangled him with his shirt and stoned him to death. He is my third child. I feel hurt. My heart is broken. I need justice.”
The culprits were later arrested by men of the Isheri Osun Divisional Police station following a tip off.
During interrogation, Simon confessed that he was given N500 to lure the deceased to where the Alfa was waiting for him. He disclosed that the Alfa took him and the child to an uncompleted building where the boy was murdered with a heavy stone.
“I went to site and I saw how he killed Chigozie. He tied him up and was making incantation before hitting him with a stone three times. He said he would kill me if I told anybody. He also showed me his juju knife and that he would use it to kill me if I told anyone.”
When interrogated, the Muslim cleric denied the allegation of being a ritualist. According to him, he is a cultist.
“I was in my house sleeping when I heard people shouting. When I came out, I saw some policemen and when I asked, I was told that they saw a dead child. I went back inside, and 30 minutes later, the police came back and arrested me. I don’t know the boy and I have never spoken to him.”
While he was speaking, Simon interjected and said:
“You are lying. He was giving me sign with his eyes not to talk. I saw you when you were using the stone to hit him until he died.”
Confirming the incident, the Divisional Police Officer of Isheri Oshun said:
“When the police became involved, I directed that all the persons involved be arrested, including the boy. It was after he was picked up that he confessed. He led us to the Alfa and we arrested him. We searched his house and the environs. We found the boy dead in the uncompleted building. He said they tied his hand and leg with red clothes and while muttering incantations, stoned the deceased three times before he died.”
