How did you meet your wife?
James: We met at film school in Abuja. When I first saw her, I knew and felt that there was a connection. It took me a few days to summon up courage to talk to her because I did not want to be embarrased. A few days later, I was working on a project and she commended me. That gave me the push to start talking to her.

He said the command would leave no stone unturned to apprehend whoever was responsible for the act, and urged the public to report any form of nefarious activities to the law enforcement agencies.

ALLEGED BLASPHEMY: Police arrest suspects as Buhari, Ganduje condemn killing of Igbo woman in Kano

Outrage, yesterday, greeted alleged lynching of the wife of a pastor in Kano by a mob made up of Muslims over alleged blasphemy. The woman, Bridget Agbahime, described as Igbo from Imo State, was said to have disallowed some Muslims from performing  ablution in front of her shop in  Kofar Wambai area of  Kano metropolis, following which she was accused of blasphemy and the mob gathered to lynch  her. The killing was said to have happened in the presence of the woman’s husband, Pastor Mike Agbahime, on Thursday. President Muhammadu Buhari;  Governor Abdullahi Umar of Kano State; his Imo State counterpart, Rochas Okorocha  and the Movement for the Actualization of the Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB) led the condemnation of the murder yesterday. The condemnation came on a day the Inspector General of Police, Mr Solomon Arase, called  for calm on the incident and assured that justice will be done on the case. Force Headquarters also said two suspects had been arrested in connection with the incident. Ganduje A statement by Force Public Relations officer, ACP Olabisi Kolawole said, “Those arrested include Dauda Ahmed and Subeiru Abubakar. “In order to ensure a diligent and professional investigation, the Inspector General of Police has directed the Deputy Inspector-General of Police in- charge of the Force Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department (FCIID) to deploy the Homicide Section of the Department to immediately take over the investigation of the case and ensure a meticulous investigation and speedy prosecution of the arrested suspects. “The IGP has also directed the Commissioner of Police of Kano State to sustain the community engagement actions which he is currently initiating with all strategic security stakeholders and community leaders in the State with a view to dousing the tension being generated by the condemnable incident”. In a statement by presidential spokesman, Mr. Femi Adesina, Buhari “condoles with the husband of the deceased, Pastor Mike Agbahime, the family and relations, praying that God would give them the fortitude to bear the loss.” The president also “commended the law enforcement agents for apprehending the prime suspect behind the killing, as well as the Kano State government, which summoned a meeting of Christian and Islamic leaders, widower of the deceased, and security agencies, as soon as the sad event occurred.” The President assured that justice would be done in the matter, and urged the people not to take the law into their hands. He equally charged those who may want to use the development to fan the embers of religious or ethnic hatred to remember that two wrongs never make a right, and that when law and order breaks down, those who become victims were never distinguished on the basis of religion or ethnicity. Ganduje  was swift in condemning the killing. Rising from a meeting chaired by the governor and attended by prominent personalities including the state Chairman, Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN, Rev. Ransome Bello; the husband of the deceased, Pastor Mike Agbahime; Islamic scholars and security agencies, the stakeholders described the incident as “unfortunate and regrettable.” In a  resolution read by  Ganduje  after the meeting, the stakeholders condoled  Agbahime, stressing that “the killing of his wife is unjustifiable and without her fault”. The governor asserted that justice must be done in the matter, in accordance with  the law. In his remarks, the state CAN Chairman, Bello, said his  association was satisfied with the resolutions adding that “there is nothing better any person would expect more than what you (the governor) have done tonight”. Okorocha, in a statement, yesterday, described the murder  as “a rude shock and the height of recklessness”. The governor, who spoke through his Chief Press Secretary, CPS, Mr. Sam Nwuemeodo, also described it as “most unfortunate”. “The governor received the news with rude shock and indeed with utmost dismay, the unfortunate report that a woman from the state, Mrs. Bridget Agbaheme, was murdered in cold blood in Kano State, over related religious issues and described the killing as the height of recklessness on the part of the perpetrators”, the CPS said. According to Onwuemeodo, when the governor was informed about the disturbing incident, he took the necessary steps and even went beyond the media reports on the sad development to confirm the report and discovered that the woman in question was truly from Mbaitoli Local Government Area of the state. “At this stage, the governor has no option than to call on all relevant security agencies in Kano State to leave no stone unturned in carrying out thorough investigation into the killing of the woman, and also stop at nothing to bring those who carried out the murder to book and pay dearly for their wicked act”, the CPS said. MASSOB leader, Uchenna Madu, described the killing of the woman as gruesome and barbaric, insisting that his group would no longer tolerate the killing of Igbo  anywhere in Nigeria. The statement read in part: “The unprovoked and insensitive killing of Igbo woman yesterday in Kano state is unacceptable to MASSOB. It can never be washed away or treated insensitively as usual. “The open barbaric gruesome murder of an Igbo mother in Arewaland is a conscious provocation of conscience of Ndigbo. “Why must the blood of Biafrans continue to be split on the cursed soil of Arewaland in the name of Islamic Religious fundamentalist and extremists? “MASSOB also warns that Deeper Life Church must compensate the pastor husband of the slain Igbo woman because they posted the family to Kano state”.

I rejected private jet gift —Apostle Johnson Suleman

Apostle SulemanThe General Overseer of Omega Fire Ministries Intervational, Apostle Johnson Suleman, who just ended the Johannesburg, South Africa, version of the Restoration Conference 2016 and will be moving to Kigali in Rwanda in June, shares his travel experience, and why he rejected a plane offer by a businessman. You were in Johannesburg and moving to Rwanda next. What should the Rwandans expect of your mission there? We have declared our next move through the Holy Ghost to have the next Apostolic Visit to Kigali, Rwanda. The Johannesburg experience was awesome. I will tell you that Rwandans will experience unforgettable moments and results with God. They are going to experience great grace. It is going to be miracles all over; challenges shall end as God’s Oracle storm the African country. Storms shall disappear, and the mighty presence of God shall manifest. It is going to be the same experience in Philadelphia because the next leg of the mission goes there.  You are always on the move around the world preaching the gospel. What have been the experiences so far? Apostle Suleman God has sent His servant to America, to the world, to bring restoration and grace to all who would believe. Recently, the world experienced he presence of God in America, as people from all parts of America yearned for the great encounter. Over the years, American cities like New York, Texas, Chicago, Georgia, Maryland, Florida and several others have experienced the power of God. It was Minnesota, three weeks ago, and Philadelphia next. We were also in Sierra Leone after the Minnesota experience. Next was Johannesburg in South Africa, and next is Kigali, Rwanda. And God has promised us these are also going to be fulfilling journeys in the life of the hopeless and the downtrodden.   As we move around the world through His special grace, millions of people are being freed from all evil foundations that temporarily hold on to their glories, finances, health, spiritual life and family success.  Your ministry’s Celebration TV just marked its third anniversary. How has the response been using a faith based television channel to reach audiences? We give all glory to God. We saw this vision passionately spreading beyond Africa and it has come to be. We are determined to keep on this blessed track and ensure souls and lives are redeemed as far as technology can reach. The aim for which the Celebration TV of our great ministry of God was established is fulfilling. One of the core objectives is to reach many homes across the world, wiping away tears and restoring people back to their destinies through the revelation of the Word and the manifestation of power and the reality of the Holy Spirit. Celebration TV was established to take the gospel into the homes, schools, offices and businesses of millions across the nations. We are going to continue to use this powerful tool for the gospel and expansion of the Kingdom.  It was in the news that you have joined the league of pastors who own private jets; is that true? It is no crime for a man of God to have a private jet, if it is meant to reach the world faster in spreading God’s mission. But I don’t have one yet. The truth is that, I was given a private plane as a gift about one month ago. But God told me that the giver was not pure. So I rejected it. You may have seen the pictures of the jet on the internet. In fact, I collected it. But when I prayed over it and found out that the source of the giver’s wealth wasn’t sincere, I politely turned it down.  Helping people has become a constant feature with you, even as you heal people. Is that the secret why you have so many followers? To start with, one lesson is the value of time-tested methods. Yes, using the new media for outreach contributes significantly to attracting people to God. But the fact remains that teaching the Word and having personal relationships by way of sharing, are the most effective forms of publicity to growing the church. Like I have always shared with people, I have tasted poverty. I come from a very humble background. This is what fires my passion for sharing with the less privileged. We are not graceful with words of mouth; we are also generous with other things that make life worth living for a man. God understands the needs of man and He is ever ready to provide those needs if man obeys His Word. We regularly share cars worth several millions of Naira, cash gifts and more. The latest is a brand new multimillion Naira Mercedes car we gave out to a member.  There is the story making the rounds about celebrity marriages crashing. What are the divine elements needed to keep a marriage going? The Lord says in Genesis 2:18. “It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper suitable for him. That is a proof that God wants and is happy with man and woman relationship. For a Christian to keep the home, spouses must avoid anger to the point of leading them to commit evil. In marriage, you need to understand the mystery of the third party. It must be fought. In marriage, spouses must always be one another’s friends. If a marriage must succeed, there in spouses, must be spiritual and emotional maturity. One of the keys to a lasting marriage is communication. Lack of communication gives room for suspicion and the devil sets in.  Spouses must learn to call each other pet names to deepen the mutual affection, even in Christian homes. A woman must learn to take good and proper care of her body. In marriage, love covers multitude of offences. Immorality sets into marriages when men are not sexually free with their wives.  Can you share the experiences of your recent conference in Johannesburg. It was indeed awesome. God manifested Himself in many miraculous ways. It is a written pact that God’s works done in God’s way never lack positive supplies. God has always been wonderful. The Johannesburg experience tagged Restoration Conference 2016 was an explosive deliverance episode that was filled with signs of His glory and power. Many things new did happen in the life of many. Of course, when Jesus calls, the world gathers; listens and profits hugely.

WHAO: The Testimony of a Guy Who Healed Himself of Cancer

In his own words:

"Well, after all the the research I have done on cancer this is what I have found out about why we get ill and get cancer. When we are born our body is in a alkaline condition and this is how our bodies are meant to be all the time — alkaline.

Your body also puts out 3 volts of electricity controlled by the brain and pumped around the body by the heart because your body works on electrical signals.

You also have a immune system which is made up of cells organs and tissues. All 3 of these work hand in hand to keeping you healthy. When your body is in this condition you will struggle to get a cold.

There’s a lot involved what i am going to say now, in fact you could write a book on it so i will keep it basic because I'm a basic person so don't have a go at me if i have missed some things out.

The main reasons why we get ill is because are body’s have become acidic. There is 3 stages to this, beginning middle and advanced of a acid body.

People with Rh Negative Blood Type Are From Equal Alien Heritage

Why does the human species have so many different blood types and Rh values when we supposedly came from 'Adam and Eve'? The biblical story of evolution no longer works as a viable explanation for evolution. Now what? Was our species genetically manipulated or were we seeded here from other star systems by aliens or, more likely, our galactic star families?

LOBATAN: APC names sponsors of Avengers

Niger Delta Militants
The ruling APC accused the PDP of sponsoring the new militant group the Niger Delta Avengers

According to the APC, the main goal of the Avengers is to frustrate and derail the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari

The ruling party rejected the inclusion of the Niger Delta region in the “imaginary State of Biafra” and described the idea as “dubious” Share on

Niger Delta Militants While Niger Delta Avengers continue attacking oil pipelines, the All Progressives Congress (APC) has accused the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) of sponsoring the new militant group. Premium Times reports that the South South zone of the APC held a meeting in Benin City, Edo state, on Friday, June 3.

The party condemned the renewed attacks in the Niger Delta region and said that the main goal of the Avengers was to frustrate and derail the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari.

“The zone is cocksure that the nefarious and ruinous activities of the ‘Avengers’ are not driven by any patriotic and altruistic impulse. “We have compelling reasons to strongly assert that these activities are sponsored and instigated by the opposition PDP to derail and frustrate the APC government of President Muhammadu Buhari because of its determination to fight against corruption, stabilise and put our country on the path of sustainable development,” the party said in a communiqué issued at the end of the meeting.

The communiqué was signed by Hilliard Eta, the APC national vice-chairman South South, and Steven Ezekwem, the zonal secretary. Rejecting the inclusion of the Niger Delta region in the “imaginary State of Biafra”, the APC described the idea as “dubious”. “Niger Delta is not, cannot and will never be part of Biafra,” it stressed. The party commended President Buhari and the federal government for the courage to commence the clean-up of Ogoniland. Meanwhile, some close allies of former president Goodluck Jonathan have been put under surveillance by the nation’s security agencies. According to a top security source, they are suspected of being behind the on-going crisis in the Niger Delta region.

That nature has blessed Africa with not only natural resources, but also with a growing superstore of human resources cannot be overemphasized.
Fifty three years ago, in the sleepy but rapidly-developing town of Omi-Adio, via Ibadan, Nigeria, late Mr. Owen Adeyinka Olowofela and his loving wife, late Mrs. Elizabeth Ajibike Olowofela were blessed with a baby boy named Joseph Adeniyi Adisa Olowofela.
The boy is now Professor Joseph Adeniyi Olowofela, an academician of national and international repute, a grassroots mobilizer, political scientist, social crusader, human rights activist and an epitome of celebrated achievements whose contributions to the socio-political landscape of his community and state cannot be written off. His ilk constitutes great blessings to the black race.
The boy Adeniyi attended Hope Central Primary School, Omi –Adio between 1969 and 1975 before proceeding to United Christian Secondary School, Omi-Adio between 1976 and 1981.
Professor Adeniyi Olowofela later proceeded to the prestigious University of Ibadan – the premier University in Nigeria – between 1982 and 1986 to earn his Bachelor of Science in Physics.
A man born to fly and blessed with a courageous heart, despite having his primary and secondary education in rural schools, young Olowofela stood shoulder-to-shoulder with his peers born with silver spoons in the university and distinguished himself with his scholarly attributes.
He went further to bag his second degree and Doctorate degree from the same University thereby specializing as a Geophysicist in 1987 and from 1989 to 1995 respectively.
As a cerebral and highly respected scholar of no mean stature, he holds various professional qualifications which include: Certificate in Seismic Hazard Assessment obtained from Potsdam, Germany; Certificate in Water Resources in Flensburg, Germany; Certificate in Microprocessors obtained from the United Nation University, Rome, Italy as well as the International Centre for Theoretical Physics (ICTP) Italy among others.
Professor Olowofela is married to Mrs. Wuraola Olowofela, herself a humble, amiable, caring, beautiful, dutiful, hardworking, loving wife and mother.
As scholarly prowess runs in the Olowofela family, Wuraola is also a teacher. They are blessed with children – Adenike, Adetola, Adeolu, Adeola and Adejare.
Taking his destiny in his hands, he worked at various times as a Laboratory Demonstrator and Tutorials, as well as Chief Examiner and Laboratory Supervisor at the University of Ibadan, Ibadan, between 1995-1999. He lectured at the same University for almost ten years before leaving for University of Agriculture, Abeokuta where he rose to the position of Head of the Physics Department.
To the glory of God, Olowofela has successfully groomed over 30,000 students, supervised close to sixty (60) B.Sc. projects and more than ten (10) Ph. D projects. It is notable that some of his erstwhile students are now Professors and Associate Professors. He has more than forty-one publications to his credit, two of which are being used by University students in Germany till today.
In recognition of his contributions to the growth of Science and Technology in Nigeria and Excellence in his Profession, the apex body of Physicists, Nigerian Institute of Physics (NIP) on 28th October, 2014 endowed him with an Award for Excellence.
Olowofela’s story is a testimony to the fact that there is no limit to what a person can achieve irrespective of how humble his/her beginning might be. For a man born and schooled in a village and selling bean cakes on the streets of Omi-Adio to have made it by dint of hard work and remarkable brilliance to the zenith of his career at a relatively young age, other young person’s should find a role model in Joseph Olowofela.
Blessed with a passion to lift the fortunes of his community with the desire to right societal wrongs, while promoting freedom and social justice, Joseph Olowofela joined active politics in the 80’s not because of the filthy lucre associated with politics in Nigeria.
He rather worked with a group of young activists and idealists with the sole objective of advocating for the improvement of the lots of his people and ensuring that young men and women coming after him in the community have a better deal through responsive, responsible and effective governance.
According to Professor Olowofela, “to whom much is given much is expected. I believe we all have a responsibility to give back to the society in whatever way we can. Whether we give out of our material substance, or through our time, dedication and effort, it is important to recognize that everyone has something to give and we all benefit from one another in different ways”.
In his political sojourn that is marked with passionate desire and painstaking efforts towards rendering services to the society, he has served different parties and governments in various capacities which include:
National Delegate - National Republican Convention (NRC), 1990.
He was appointed Member, Governing Council, Oyo State College of Education, Oyo between 1999-2003 by the His Excellency, Alhaji Lam Adesina (late), while the council was headed by Professor Lekan Oyedeji.
Party Chairman, Alliance for Democracy (AD), Ido Local Government, Oyo State, 2002-2003.
Chairmanship Candidate, All Nigerian People’s Party (ANPP), (he won the controversial election conducted by His Excellency, Senator Rasidi Ladoja in 2007).
He was appointed Transition Committee Chairman- Ido Local Government, Oyo State by His Excellency, Senator Abiola Ajimobi, August 2011 till November 2014.
Prior to his assumption of duty as Ido Local Government Caretaker Committee Chairman, Ido is the largest Local Government in Ibadan land, Oyo State but was rated lowest in terms of development and recognition among Local Governments in the State. What a man cannot propagate before his death is not success.
Heroes are ordinary people, but with extraordinary determination. Professor Adeniyi Olowofela rose from simple but sterling backgrounds to enviable prominence. The articulate University Don has made the guiness book of record for being one of the first Professors in the history of our great nation; Nigeria to become a Council Chairman, if not the first.
To the glory of God, Olowofela emerged as the Overall Best perfomed Local Government Chairman in Nigeria, 2012 at the 19th edition of National Award for Excellence in Grassroot Leadership by Grassroot Leadership Centre, Abuja.
Similarly, he also emerged as the Overall Best performed Local Chairman in Nigeria, 2012 on Works/Education at the 10th edition of the All Nigerian Local Government Chairmen Merit Award (LOGMA 2012) by Mentors Communication, Abuja.
Equally, In 2013, he emerged as Oodua Hero Council Chairman, an award presented by the Yoruba Youth Development Council (YYDC). Merit awards were also presented by several bodies in recognition of his contributions to the society such as : the Student Union Government (SUG), Federal College of Agriculture, Moor Plantation, Ibadan, Association of Primary School Head Teachers of Nigeria, Oyo State Chapter to mention but a few.
Professor Olowofela's humanitarian services informed the decision of Rotarian Bayo Ajidagba - led Rotary Club of Oluyole Estate, Ibadan (R.I. District 9125, Nigeria)
to bestowed on him A Merit Award.
He has applied his intellect, experience and expertise for a vivid demonstration of the reformation, repositioning and restructuring agenda of His Excellency, Senator Abiola Ajimobi, the Executive Governor of Oyo State in Ido Local Government where he holds sway.
Through his efforts, he has been able to revived, redeemed and reclaimed the lost glory of Ido Local Government thereby putting it back on track in line with the lofty dreams of the founding fathers of the local government.
Today, far famed sons and daughters are now interested in the councils' business of governance.
His achievements speak volumes of his tenacity, brilliance and innovativeness.
He is now a commissioner appointed by His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Senator Abiola Ajimobi.

Why I prefer to have sex with my childhood friend than my boyfriend – Singer

Singer Gussy BabyFast rising Nigerian singer Gussy Baby revealed why it is better to have sex with a friend than a lover – Gussy Baby disclosed that she that she has once had sex with her childhood friend – The singer took part in MTN Project Fame but got evicted
Singer Gussy Baby One time Nigerian Project Fame Season 9 participant, Mabel Green popularly known as Gussy Baby is one of Nigeria’s fast rising singing sensation. The budding singer is set to take over the music industry with her looks, voice and charisma. In a recent interview with Vanguard, the singer opened up on her music career and her love life as she placed more emphasis on why it is better to have sex with your childhood friend than your lover. When asked about if she would ever find love again and when last she had sex, Gussy Baby said: “I have not been in a relationship for two years now and I am happy. I can boldly say I am not dating anybody. I have had sex just two times in two years. It is better to have sex and not be in a relationship than to be in a relationship where you have sex and you end up being heartbroken. That’s bad. The person I had sex with is my childhood friend.”

Opening up on her love life, she disclosed that she has suffered a serious heartbreak from her previous relationship adding that, most guys are satisfied being single and tend to move from one lady to another saying: “I don’t love to talk about love. I suffered heartbreak from my last relationship. Most guys are not satisfied with being in a single relationship, so they tend to move from one lady to another. Some men believe we have many ladies around so they want to have a feel of all. For now, I have made up my mind not to love. I am very emotional when it comes to matters of the heart. I am finding it difficult to trust men again.” On plans to promote African culture through her mode of dressing, Gussy Baby said that she would never reveal any part of her body because the Nigerian culture frowns a lot at indecent dressing including bikinis. She said: “I will promote African dressing and our culture. Our culture frowns at indecent dressing. Wearing anything shorter than a bum short is something I don’t want to do. I will only like to flaunt my shoulders and legs. I am not a fan of indecent dressing.”

Outrage as teachers whip Lagos schoolgirl’s buttocks raw

A whipping incident in a school in Ijegun area of Lagos, which left the buttocks of a 13-year-old girl badly bruised, has led to an outrage on social media, calling to question the limit of corporal punishment.
The girl, Glory (not real name) was allegedly caned by three male teachers of St Saviour’s High School, Ijegun as punishment for attending the birthday party of another student of the school in company with other classmates.
But Glory’s father told our correspondent that whatever reason the teachers had to punish his daughter, beating to the extent of needing medical treatment was a criminal act.
Glory said one of the three teachers who caned her was the son of the school owner, who is also the academic officer.
The girl had explained that because there was a public holiday on Friday, May 27, the school held its Children’s Day party on Thursday, the previous day, during which they all wore mufti.
Her father told Saturday PUNCH that she and many other classmates decided to go to the house of another student living beside the school, who happened to be celebrating her birthday.
“That was when her name was written with others as offenders, who attended the birthday without permission,” her father said.
She came home crying on Tuesday when school resumed after the public holidays, only for her father to discover the bruising that whipping had done to the girl’s backside.
“I have to tell you that I nearly fainted when I saw the injury. I am a soft person, but that does not mean I don’t punish my children when they do something wrong. But I will only be crazy to cane my child to the extent of inflicting injury on her.
“How can three teachers do that to my child? For attending a birthday? Is that such a crime. Why three teachers would beat her is still a mystery to me.”
The picture of the girl’s injuries circulated on Twitter on Wednesday as people called on authorities to act against the school’s action, while the alumni association of the school has promised to look into the case.
The family of the girl stormed the school on Wednesday morning demanding answers on why three teachers had to mete out such brutal punishment to the girl.
It was learnt that the girl was also suspended for the remainder of the week.
When our correspondent visited the school, the administrator, Mr. Isaac Idowu, said that the claims by the girl’s family were far from the truth.
According to him, after the school, students were released at 3pm after the Children’s Day party, more than 70 students including Glory decided to go to a hotel called Fatherland in the area and attended a birthday party, where some of them allegedly got drunk.
Idowu said, “We have the responsibility to keep them safe. When we learnt that the students did not go home straight, we decided to conduct our investigation.
“When they came to school this week Tuesday, we gathered the students who went for the birthday in our hall and held a counselling for them. Then we decided that as punishment, session each of them should be given just four strokes of the cane.
“Those who were deeply involved were expelled or suspended indefinitely, while those who were not so involved but went for the party like this girl, were given just one week suspension. Even some of their parents have come here begging us to reverse the suspension, urging us to cane them more instead. She is the only one out of the 70, who had this kind of issue.
“We have shown concern too about the girl’s welfare but the picture of the injury is not the true state of the situation. Of course, it is not true that three teachers beat her. It is not possible. If anything bad happened to any of the students while at the hotel, the parents would have made trouble with us because they did not know they were no longer under our care after the school hours.”
